#1 Starting My Own YouTube Channel
Since weeks I had more time to work on stuff next to my regular work and I realized on YouTube are very good channels and a lot of information accessable for free. I was watching different videos and I got stuck on one specific channel. It was all about solar energy. That was really interesting so I was watching a lot videos of the same channel. Pretty quickly I realized this YouTuber was doing a great job and had a lot of experience. I tried to educate me with his videos which led me to rebuild one of his blueprints.
I felt so good doing this.
It was incredible how easy it was to build a solar system myself. I felt so good doing this. I should also mention I was investing a litle money without knowing what to use this system for. This was not holding me back. I continued watching his videos and learnt more about solar but also about the youtuber and his life. Slowly I realized he is just working as a youtuber. I got jelious.
How is that possible to live only from YouTube? I started digging deeper into YouTube to understand what is it about. Very quickly I understood how the system works. There are tons of videos explaining exactly that question. Just type into the search field your specific question.
I want to become a YouTouber
The desire to record my own videos and try to educate other watchers got bigger and bigger. I realized very quick I should just try it. I was watching tutorials about “How to start a YouTube Channel”. A lot of them were saying “just start, don’t wait”. “Try to make as many videos regulary as possible, but just start”. It did not take me long to get my camera setup and try to record me just speeaking in front of the camera. Also, I started talking to my wife what in the world could be possible interesting for other people what I can do. It did not take very long to figure that out.
Tobi’s Real Life Skills (with Tobi) was born! I really thought what am I doing and what might be interesting for other people. And there it was. There is a question out there for anything! I thought I will just continue my little site projects and hobbies what I am doing, I will just try to record those things and make those videos accessable for other people.
For sure I always ask myself will other people be interested in my videos?
I will continue with my new Channel and keep you posted.
